Well, that was disappointing. It was clearly written by John McCain's handlers. And it was all fluff and out-and-out lies. Where she got into specifics -- talking about John McCain's energy policy -- she sounded like President Bush, which made me wonder if she was serious about it.
She started off with a half-hour introduction to her family, and the last half of her speech was all about Obama. Nothing about John McCain's tax plans or foreign policy plans or anything but the energy plans. And to imply that Obama is going to raise payroll taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 is just a damned lie. As is the implication that Obama is going to raise taxes on small businesses. In fact Obama's tax plan calls for cuts for small businesses and people making under $250,000 -- which you're not going to get under McCain's tax plan.
As I said, Sarah Palin's speech was disappointing -- luckily, I wasn't expecting much.
I agree with you.. I saw part of the speech and it turned my stomach. I
have been blogging a bit about what I see on net.. and add my touch. Keep
us informed. Drop by sometime and view my efforts of newsworthy subjects..

He has convinced himself that is something special because he was raised by
a white woman many black children are raised by white families, had he or
his stupid staff bothered to do some homework they would have found that
more white people adopt black children from tired world countries than any
other group.
