President George W. Bush has picked up another endorsement from a terrorist group, this time from the Teamsters Union of terrorism, al Qaeda. This endorsement allows Bush to tap the votes of up to six million Muslim Americans. The endorsement should put to rest all the talk by conservative pundits that terrorists want Kerry to win.
An al Qaeda spokesman, quoted on the Arabic news Web site www.elaph.com, said the organization hoped George Bush would win re-election, "because he acts with force rather than wisdom or shrewdness, and it is his religious fanaticism that will rouse our (Islamic) nation, as has been shown. Being targeted by an enemy is what will wake us from our slumber."
This is similar to an endorsement Bush previously picked up from the Abu Hafs al-Masri Brigades, who endorse Bush because it is not possible to find a leader, "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom. Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization. Because of this we desire you (Bush) to be elected."
I don't know of any plans for al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden to join candidate Bush on the campaign trail, but I'm looking for his name among Bush's Rangers and Pioneers.
