So it turns out that the torture manual used by the U.S. military was "copied verbatim from a 1957 Air Force study of Chinese Communist techniques used during the Korean War."
These were the techniques used to get our boys to make outlandish confessions like using germ warfare against the North Korean people. I can only imagine the outlandish things to which they made the Gitmo prisoners confess.
It's still amazing to me that, in our country, people would officially sanction the torture of other human beings. It's like I've said before, If the guys at Gitmo are guilty of terrorism, try 'em and fry 'em, otherwise let 'em go. And to have Senator McCain, a guy who was tortured himself, advocate that kind of behavior is just appalling.
It's no wonder the Bush administration won't give these guys a day in court: who knows what they confessed to under torture?
We've been tortured by this whole administration for 7+
years....documentation and various sources proving thier flagrant abuses of
laws, and the biggest violation of all...of our Constitution......yet some
people still choose to turn their heads and follow this idiot. And those
followers will be the first to jump in and support the most flagrant abuses
of other humans in any venue.
Guess Bushco is going to be missed by a lot.......they're creating a
perfect clone in McCane....
Yeah, I don't nderstand how ANYONE could still support President Bush's
policies -- much less why they'd want four more years of it.
